Greetings, everyone!

I am Mrs. Penny, and I am absolutely thrilled to embark on my third year here at MiVillage, where I'll have the privilege of guiding and nurturing the wonderful children in the Beehive Room. I can't wait to get to know each and every one of you, and together, we'll embark on a multitude of exciting adventures!

In the enchanting world of preschool, every day unfolds as a new opportunity, brimming with possibilities and countless learning experiences.

My journey in early childhood education began when I started a home-based daycare, a decision driven by my desire to be with my own children while pursuing my passion for teaching. Seven years ago, I made the transition to center-based education, where I've had the privilege of working with children of all ages, from infants and toddlers to the spirited preschoolers we have in the Beehive room.

I am the proud parent of two wonderful children, Kyle and Hannah, who continually inspire me in my role as an educator. One of my greatest joys is gathering on the rug with the children, engaging in imaginative play, and singing songs that spark their curiosity and creativity.

In my teaching approach, I place a strong emphasis on social and emotional development, recognizing its profound impact on a child's overall growth and happiness. Additionally, I delight in guiding our young learners in acquiring essential self-help skills that will serve them well as they journey through life.

As we venture through each preschool year, I am dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment where each child feels cherished and supported in their unique journey of discovery. I am genuinely excited to be a part of your child's growth and development.
