Tyler Wyatt

 Hello, everyone!

I'm Tyler, and I'm incredibly excited to serve as the Program Director at MiVillage. My journey in working with children began at an early age, as my mom ran a home daycare while I was growing up. I found great joy in helping out and being a part of children's daily adventures.

My path continued as I started babysitting and ventured into teaching karate. This experience allowed me to connect with children in various settings and further fueled my passion for working with them.

When the opportunity arose to be part of MiVillage when it first opened its doors, I eagerly stepped in to run the program. What captivated me from the start was the ability to spend quality time with each child, truly getting to know them and being a positive influence in their lives.

My educational journey took me to Framingham State University, where I further honed my skills and knowledge. I also pursued college-level classes to obtain my director certification through the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).

Initially, the program at MiVillage focused on afterschool care, which I absolutely loved due to my strong connection with this age group. However, my love for younger children was equally profound. As a result, in the fall of 2020, I took the initiative to open the preschool classroom, expanding the program's offerings to a wider age range.

In early 2021, I had the opportunity to create our new facility, and my vision was clear: to design an environment that's not only fun and homelike for children but also inviting for parents and a wonderful place for teachers to work. My aim was to foster an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome, valued, and part of a close-knit community.

I am genuinely thrilled to be a part of your child's educational journey and to collaborate with a dedicated team of educators who share my passion.
